Deruta is a small medieval town in Umbria in central Italy where pottery has been made for hundreds of years. With over 200 workshops, it is one of the largest producers of glazed Italian earthenware known as maiolica (pronounced ‘may-oh-licka’).
We buy all our products directly from the makers, carefully choosing items that convey the hand-crafted element in the ceramic pieces and napery.
Please note: only 'IN STOCK' items are available for immediate delivery. Items which are not in stock can be ordered from our factories in Deruta Italy, but please allow around at least three months for production, packing, shipping to Australia and delivery to you. Faster turn around is possible for customers who wish to pay for air freight.
I just opened the parcel and the planter pot is really beautiful. I am sure my cousin will love it when I give it to her on Christmas day. It brings back beautiful memories of all the pottery from Positano and Caltagirone in Sicily!! Thank you so much for packaging it so well.

The 'Giglio' ceramic bowl I ordered from you arrived safely yesterday. It is simply gorgeous. In fact I was overwhelmed by its beauty as I didn't expect it to be so pleasing and delightful. Both my wife and I are thrilled with it.

So happy with my beautiful jug from Paradiso Ceramics. Even more beautiful than it looked online. Ordering was easy, it arrived particularly promptly and I received a personalized email from Marg letting me know it had been posted, and then a personalized card came with it too. So thoughtful! This is a small business that knows what they are doing and I will definitely be re ordering from them!
