The shape of this unusual bowl is designed for a loaf of sour dough bread, but it works just as well for serving a salad or vegetables.
It is 32x21cm and about 6cm deep.
It is hand painted with the Ricco pattern, a classic Deruta design which dates back to the Renaissance. 'Ricco' means rich in Italian, and is colourful with beautiful detail.
