Lava Stone Tables and Fountains

A lava stone table or fountain will bring pleasure for a lifetime.

These beautiful volcanic stone tables and fountains are cut from Italian quarries, cleaned of impurities, individually shaped and smoothed, then fired in a huge furnace. Next each one is hand-painted by skillful artists. The second firing brings out the rich colours. To see how the tables are made, please click here.

Volcanic stone is an extremely tough material, much stronger than regular ceramics, and can withstand temperatures from -50 to 100 degrees celsius. This means they are ideal for indoor and outdoor use. 

The vibrant colours are guaranteed not to fade and the firing process creates an exceptionally hard surface that can withstand corrosive chemicals, salinity and UV exposure. It won’t chip or scratch easily, is 100% food safe and easy to clean. The surface is also nonporous, which means it is impervious to water, won’t harbor bacteria, and is stain resistant.

We import these from CeramicArte Deruta, an Italian company committed to the highest quality and craftsmanship.
